 At Assurity we appreciate that our associates are highly engaged in the company’s good work of fulfilling our mission to "help people through difficult times.” In these pages, you will find more detailed information about our associates and community activities.
Highly Engaged Associates Right Management®, which administers Assurity’s associate engagement survey, indicated that Assurity’s 2010 overall associate engagement score places our company among the top five companies with which they work. Assurity's overall score increased to 77 percent from the 2009 score of 71 percent. We were also pleased that our survey results showed that, based on the score of 95 percent, Assurity associates clearly understand our company’s Mission, Values and Strategy.
Quarterly meetings with President and CEO Tom Henning and other speakers keep associates abreast of Assurity events. Assurity management has strived to create a great place for associates to work. Among other improvements, we have provided better access to senior leaders, strengthened communication between departments, better explained reasons behind decisions, and handled change more effectively. Assurity will continue listening to feedback provided by the Associate Engagement Survey to make improvements or respond in the best interest of our associates and policyholders.
Our associates enjoy Volunteer Appreciation Breakfasts, learning opportunities related to health and wellness, and a variety of holiday events. |

Our Management Assurity has an expert and seasoned management team with high ethical standards and a focus on providing best-in-class service, encouraging innovation and fulfilling the other important objectives set out in our Vision, Mission and Values statement.
Associates enjoy visits from a local organic farm that sells fresh produce in our home office.
Assurity's intern program affords area high school students first-hand experience in the varied tasks of a workplace environment. |
